• Slater Associates developed a Campus Master Plan for Garrison Forest School.
• Design objectives included a new vehicular entrance, gates, and guardhouse, the new dining hall entrance, a new equestrian center and memorial garden, new Middle School and Math Sciences Buildings, athletic fields, and the historic on-campus Lochinvar residence.
• Several concept schemes and pathway layouts were tested during the design development phase to ensure the built design would fit explicitly with the needs of the school.
• The extensive site work completed in final construction documents phase included the design and layout of special paving throughout the arrival areas, plazas, and walkways, stone seat walls, plant beds with multi-seasonal interest, and creative lighting to enhance the campus experience.
• The Garrison Forest Middle School achieved LEED Silver Certification (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design).
