- The owner of this historic home desired to preserve the existing remains of a stone barn foundation and integrate a "deer-proof" enclosure and garden shed into the main garden.
- Also of major consideration on the site was
an existing natural spring, which we
channeled into a "dry river bed" of
river jacks.
- The plant palette incorporates spring,
summer, and fall blooming plant varieties,
including espaliered apple trees along the
back wall.
- This home has for several years been a part of the American Horticultural Society's Garden Tour.
